Hi I’m Amanda, it’s very nice to meet you!

A little bit about me…

I’m originally from Reno, Nevada and fell in love with the PNW while attending college at OSU (Go Beavs!)

Before becoming a therapist, I spent years training in Tae Kwon Do, where I learned the value of resilience, focus, and the mind-body connection. My time in the theater world taught me how storytelling, vulnerability, and empathy can transform pain into power. Global travel has deepened my cultural sensitivity and reinforced my commitment to meeting each client with openness, curiosity, and respect for their unique journey.

When I’m not in the office I love to get lost in a good romantasy book, try Salt n’ Straw’s monthly flavors, go for hikes, and play games with friends.

I became a therapist because

  • I have been affected by the tragedies that can unfold when a person’s mental health suffers and treatment is not available, accessed, or appropriate given the individual’s needs

  • I love hearing other’s life stories and bearing witness to their current experiences

  • I believe in the power of social connection and have seen the emotional and psychological benefits that result from feeling loved, cared for, and understood

  • Learning about the brain and human psychology normalizes every day patterns that we sometimes think we experience alone

  • I’m passionate about helping others gain a deeper understanding of themselves and learn skills that promote mental health and overall wellbeing
